LIMERICK, Ireland – Circle Oil says an infill 2D seismic survey of 850 line km (528 mi) has been completed over block 52 offshore Oman.
The data is being processed and will soon be interpreted. Circle’s goal is to firm up its nearshoreSawqirah Bay leads into drillable prospects.
There has been renewed interest in the company’s acreage following a discovery in the adjacent block to the north. Circle hopes to clinch a farm-in partner to drill an exploration well in 2015.
