Offshore staff
KRISTIANSAND, Norway–OSM Offshore AS, which provides offshore management services and is part of the OSM Maritime Group Ltd., has a contract with Equinox Offshore ARV3 BV for full management of safety and maintenance unit (UMS) Aquarius Brasil.
The unit is in the Campos basin offshoreBrazil, and the operation began as planned on Aug. 1.
TheAquarius Brasil is an integrated project management and execution center developed to facilitate all offshore asset installation and maintenance. The unit has workshops, storage, offices, and meeting rooms, as well as living and recreation facilities.
The unit is a monohull diesel electric DP-2 vessel, designed and equipped to provide extensive accommodation and workshop facilities to support and service offshore projects indeepwater areas.
After completing sea trials in April 2013, theAquarius Brasil has been assigned to a five-year agreement in the Campos basin.
