Nigeria president appoints new executives for NNPC, NPDC

Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Joseph Dawha as group managing director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corp. (NNPC). The president has also appointed Anthony Muoneke as managing director, Nigerian Petroleum Development Co. (NPDC); Aisha Abdurrahman as group executive director, Commercial and Investment, NNPC; and Attahir Yusuf as group executive director, Business Development, NNPC.

ABUJA, NigeriaNigeria President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Joseph Dawha as group managing director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corp. (NNPC). The president has also appointed Anthony Muoneke as managing director, Nigerian Petroleum Development Co. (NPDC); Aisha Abdurrahman as group executive director, Commercial and Investment, NNPC; and Attahir Yusuf as group executive director, Business Development, NNPC.

Dawha has served previously as group executive director, Exploration and Production, NNPC, and as managing director of Integrated Data Services Ltd, a subsidiary of NNPC.

Muoneke has over 29 years of experience at both local and international levels in the oil and gas sector. He also has experience in the energy and power sectors, including as executive director of Finance and Administration for Niger Delta Power Holding Company Ltd.
