SINGAPORE –KrisEnergy Ltd. has concluded drilling operations at the Mancharee-1 exploration commitment well in license G10/48 in the Gulf of Thailand.
The well reached a TD of 12,205 ft (3,720 m), encountering gas shows at several levels but no significant pay zones were identified. Macharee-1, a final commitment well in the third exploration phase of the license, was drilled in a water depth of 170 ft (52 m) using theWest Cressida jackup owned by Seadrill Far East Ltd.
KrisEnergy wholly owns the working interest in the license which spans 4,696 sq km (1,813 sq mi) over the southern section of the Pattani basin.
