SINGAPORE -KrisEnergy Ltd. has finalized a development concept for the Wassana project in block G10/48, offshore Thailand, and submitted the production area application to Thai authorities.
Once submitted, the company secured theKey Gibraltar jackup for six months to drill up to 15 development wells in Wassana, and a minimum of six exploration wells in the G10/48 and G6/48 licenses.
KrisEnergy also contracted a mobile offshore production unit to serve as the oil processing facility for the field, with first oil expected in 2H 2015. Production is anticipated to peak at 10,000 b/d.
