INTECSEA starts subsea studies on Culzean in North Sea

HOUSTON – INTECSEA’s UK office has started to perform the subsea front-end engineering and design (FEED) for Maersk Oil UK’s Culzean ultra-high pressure/high-temperature development in the central North Sea.

Culzean, one of the UK’s largest undeveloped offshore gas fields, is in a water depth of 88 m (289 ft). The reservoir is roughly 4,300 m (14,107 ft) below sea level.

The contract, set to run for 10 months, includes optional detailed design scopes.
