ABERDEEN, UK – Harkand has received a contract to support Apache with inspection, repair, and maintenance work (IRM), as well as light construction across its assets in the North Sea.
The award includes the provision of vessels, ROV, and diving services for a three-year period, plus two one-year options.
Harkand Europe managing director David Kerr said, “Having both theHarkand Atlantis and the Harkand Da Vinci DSVs in the North Sea provides Apache with the flexibility they require.”
Sister vessels, theHarkand Da Vinci and Harkand Atlantis are dive support vessels featuring 18-man saturation diving systems. The 115.4-m (379-ft) vessels can accommodate 120 personnel. They have 140-metric-ton (154-ton) active heave compensated main cranes, and Super Mohawk ROV spreads.
