Offshore staff
SHARJAH, UAE – Development work on the Zora gas field offshore the UAE is progressing well, according to operator Dana Gas.
The company has awarded most of the contracts for the load-out and installation of theplatform and topsides, construction of the onshore gas plant, offshore pipelay, and line pipe procurement.
More contracts are expected soon for drilling and well engineering operations, and onshore pipeline work. Dana Gas expects first gas during 1H 2015, building to 40 MMcf/d (1.1 MMcm/d).
Elsewhere in the region, the company says it will continue to focus on commercial and long-term production growth opportunities in the Nile Delta and offshore Eastern Mediterranean.
