ABERDEEN, UK – Dana expects to bring onstream the South October oil field development in the Gulf of Suez this summer.

Egypt’s government gave the project the go-ahead last year. The field was formerly known asNefertiti.

However, Dana has decided to discontinue exploration in Egypt’s offshore Manzala PSC.

Offshore Guinea, the company and its partners plan to drill the Fatala Cretaceous fan prospect in 2015.

In the UK southern North Sea, Dana and operator E.ON are working toward government sanction before the end of 2015 for itsTolmount gas discovery. Successful appraisal drilling last year on the 2011 discovery increased its resource potential.

Elsewhere in this sector, Dana and its partners are negotiating to tieback thePlatypus gas find to infrastructure in the area. They anticipate start-up in 2018.
