Natuna Sea offshore gas swap takes effect

LONDONPremier Oil says it has supplied first gas offshore Indonesia under a domestic swap agreement (DSA).

The company will deliver up to an additional 40 billion BTU per day (gross) from itsNatuna Sea block A to Singapore.

These are being swapped with existing supplies from Sumatra to Singapore that will be re-directed to the Indonesian domestic gas market.

The DSA gas replaces volumes previously contracted to Batam Island, Indonesia, from the Natuna Sea block A under the GSA3 and GSA4 contracts.
