Hytech wins order for containerized air-dive spreads

IHC Hytech has secured an order for two containerized air-dive spreads from Bluestream. The systems consist of a containerized 1,800-mm (6-ft) decompression chamber with a full three-dive control panel, and a separate machinery container that will be modified to meet the customer’s needs.

RAAMSDONKSVEER, the Netherlands – IHC Hytech has secured an order for two containerized air-dive spreads from Bluestream. These systems consist of a containerized 1,800-mm (6-ft) decompression chamber with a full three-dive control panel, and a separate machinery container that will be modified to meet the customer’s needs.

The complete containerized air-dive spread has been certified byLloyd’s Register.

IHC Hytech will supply the chambers in 20-ft (6-m) containers, and the dive control panel will have the latest technologies in dive monitoring and layout design. It will be computerized with a remote readout and complete sensor package. The divers’ data acquisition system will be installed in a 19-in. rack. Among other features are two radios, inline breathing gas supply, oxygen percentage monitoring, video systems, and various alarm units.

The divers’ data monitoring system is designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of shallow-water diving operations. It displays and records vital data, including diver and chamber depth against time, and the dive control is installed with the latest camera and light control units for optimizedsubsea images.
