Gulf Marine Services receives Middle East well support contract extensions

Gulf Marine Services has secured 12-month contract extensions for two of its small class self-elevating support vessels (SESV) in the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) region.

ABU DHABI, UAEGulf Marine Services has secured 12-month contract extensions for two of its small class self-elevating support vessels (SESV) in the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) region.

One is for a vessel chartered to a national oil company (NOC) for well service support.

The other is for an SESV on a five-year charter to another NOC, again engaged in well service support.

Day rates in both cases will remain the same.

Duncan Anderson, CEO of GMS, said: “The order book for our entire fleet continues to be very healthy, with our assets all currently on contracts to support brownfield oil and gas recovery, well services, and maintenance work in the MENA region andnorthwest Europe.”
