    Dolphin receives new 7-Oceans seismic guard vessel

    Dolphin Group ASA reports that Dolphin Geophysical attended the naming ceremony of the 7-Oceans newbuild seismic guard vessel at the Maaskant Shipyard in the Netherlands on July 25.

    BERGEN, Norway –Dolphin Group ASA (OSE: DOLP) reports thatDolphin Geophysical attended the naming ceremony of the 7-Oceans newbuild seismic guard vessel at the Maaskant Shipyard in the Netherlands on July 25.

    This is the first of three newbuild seismic guard vessels that Dolphin will take on long-term charters (with durations of at least four years) with Rederij Groen. The second vessel, 7-Waves, is due to be launched in October, and the 7-Stars will be launched in 1Q 2015.

    For her first mission, the 7-Oceans will soon join the ArtemisAtlantic in the Barents Sea.
