LAFAYETTE, Louisiana – The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has awarded C&C Technologies a new five-year contract for hydrographic surveys throughout US coastal waters.

Task orders are expected to include hydrographic surveys to update the nation’s nautical charts and for safety of navigation following maritime incidents or storm events. Responsibilities include identifying hazards to navigation, acquiring and processing hydrographic data, determining least depths, and comprehensive reporting.

NOAA has previously tasked C&C with conducting navigation surveys to assist in opening ports and restoring commerce following hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Gustav, Ike, and Sandy.
