    Aker Solutions to supply subsea injection manifolds offshore Brazil

    Petrobras has ordered eight subsea manifolds from Aker Solutions under a contract valued at more than $300 million.

    FORNEBU, Norway – Petrobras has ordered eight subsea manifolds from Aker Solutions under a contract valued at more than $300 million.

    These will be installed in deepwaterpresaltfield developments offshore Brazil. The manifolds, which will have a design life of 30 years, will be used to alternately inject water and gas to increase oil recovery.

    Aker Solutions will manufacture much of the equipment at its plant inCuritiba.
