Technip outlines scope of North Sea support programs

Technip expects to complete work on four North Sea contracts by the end of January.

ABERDEEN, UK – Technip expects to complete work on four North Sea contracts by the end of January.

Shell UK, Fairfield Energy, Ithaca Energy, and TAQA commissioned the programs this year.

Technip’s scope covers:

  • Diving operations ahead of decommissioning of theShell Delta Brent facilities, under a newly-awarded framework agreement to support Shell’s UK and Norway assets
  • Intelligent pigging operations for Fairfield Energy’s Merlinfield development (completed in October)
  • Light construction work for Ithaca Energy on theCauseway field
  • Conductor centralizer maintenance services forTAQA’s Harding field development.

The specialized work scopes have made use of the DSVsOrelia, Skandi Arctic, and Skandi Achiever.
