TEL AVIV, Israel -- Delek Group says there are strong signs of natural gas from the Noble Energy-led partnership’s latest deepwater exploration well offshore Israel.
This follows analysis of logging tests on theSouth West Tamar well in the Levantine basin.
The well has reached its targeted final depth of 5,340 m (17,519 ft) below sea level. Noble hasinitiated operations to stabilize and maintain the borehole to enable wireline logging.
