NEW DELHI, India – ONGC has contracted Punj Lloyd for construction of the B-127 cluster pipeline offshore western India.
Punj Lloyd’s scope includes engineering design, surveys, fabrication, transportation, and installation of 115.5 km (71.8 mi) of rigid submarine pipelines in nine segments; relocation of an existing buoy mooring; installation of a new pipeline end manifold with anchor piles; and topsides modifications on four existing platforms.
B-127 takes in three marginal fields, B-127, B-157 and B-59, all north of Mukta, with related development of the offshore B-55 field of theBassein and satellite asset, focusing on multi-layered reservoirs in the Bassein and Mukta formations.
