LUXEMBOURG – Pemex has awarded Subsea 7 (OSLO:SUBC) a $90-million contract for work in the Bay of Campeche.
The contract covers engineering, fabrication, and installation of 8 km (5 mi) of pipeline, related risers, two slug catchers, and two cantilever structures for the Line 67 Project in the Gulf of Mexico.
Project management and engineering will be handled from Subsea 7’s joint venture’s offices in Ciudad del Carmen and Houston. Offshore operations are due to commence in 3Q 2013, with pipelay in 4Q 2013 withSeven Borealis.
