Offshore staff
HOUSTON –Dril-Quip Inc. (NYSE: DRQ) has won a contract to supply drilling and production equipment and services to Sabah Shell Petroleum Co. Ltd. for the Shell Malikai TLP project offshore Malaysia.
Dril-Quip will supply subsea wellheads, tensioner systems, risers, production trees, injection trees, and tieback connectors for the project in approximately 1,800 ft (549 m) of water. Delivery is expected to start in 2014.
The award was to Dril-Quip Asia-Pacific Pte. Ltd. in conjunction with its local representative UMW Petrodril (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
