HOUSTON –OMV AG, OMV Solutions GmbH, and OME Petrom SA have selected the Petris Technology Inc. borehole data management system for a Well Log Management Systems project.

Using a web-based “drop-box” wizard, users can deliver validated well data electronically. The data is then checked and automatically loaded into a temporary staging area using the Recall Autoloader before being quality controlled using the Recall Automated Verification Engine (RAVEN).

Once the data has passed all the checks, email notifications are sent to designated managers for final approval before being published into the Recall Corporate Database. The value curves are then ready for use in OMV and OMV Petrom's project applications while the original format data (raw data, reports, etc.) are stored in the Recall archive.

The system provides data management for all types of borehole data, including digital well log, petrophysical, core, and geomechanical data. The solution includes strategic consulting to define and develop automated workflows for quality control, data verification, allowing integration, and data distribution with OMV’s various upstream applications.
