Bayerngas commits to Norway seismic, drilling programs

Bayerngas Norge has commissioned Fugro-Geoservices to acquire 182 sq km (70 sq mi) of seismic survey data in license PL 635, 100 km (62 mi) west of Florø, Norway.

OSLO, Norway – Bayerngas Norge has commissioned Fugro-Geoservices to acquire 182 sq km (70 sq mi) of seismic survey data in license PL 635, 100 km (62 mi) west of Florø, Norway.

In addition, the company is participating in a rig consortium established by Norwegian Rig Management. This will allow Bayerngas to drill two wells between 2013 and 2016, using the Ocean Rig semi Leiv Erikson.
