LR to advise Maersk FPSOs on asset integrity

Lloyd’s Register EMEA has won a multi-year contract to provide Maersk FPSOs with a comprehensive suite of technical services.

LONDON -- Lloyd’s Register EMEA has won a multi-year contract to provide Maersk FPSOs with a comprehensive suite of technical services.

The agreement covers integrity and inspection management, classification, verification and engineering support, to help ensure safe operations.

Lloyd's Register will assist and advise Maersk FPSOs on complying with regulatory, health, safety and environmental commitments of its asset integrity-management program.

It also will  manage activities relating to the retention of class notations for Maersk FPSOs' fleet, supplying surveyors to carry out Flag State surveys and in-service and design verification and examination activities as required by local legislation and/or Maersk.

Lloyd's Register integrity team will work alongside Maersk FPSOs' operations team in Aberdeen.
