ARENDAL, Norway -- Sevan Marine and E.ON Ruhrgas UK E&P have concluded negotiations for the lease of the FPSO Sevan Voyageur for the Huntington field development in the UK North Sea.
The charter party has a fixed term of five years, valued at $535 million, with extension options.E.ON operates Huntington in partnership with Premier Oil, Altinex Oil (UK), and Carrizo Oil & Gas.
Sevan also has extended by six months its charter contract with Centrica Energy Upstream for the FPSOSevan Hummingbird on the Chestnut field, through Sept. 28, 2011. Day rates remain unchanged during the extension. The FPSO has been operating on the Chestnut field in the UK central sector since September 2008.
