MIDDLESBROUGH, UK -- Hertel Offshore has acquired offshore accommodation design specialists Quest Worldwide.
The acquisition, which secured around 50 jobs in Aberdeen, has led to Hertel opening larger offices in the city to support the expanded business, with Bob Jack named Regional Director.
The two companies will combine to form a comprehensive service for the offshore industry with specialist experience in design, engineering, outfitting and fabrication of offshore accommodation modules.
Services will also include painting and surface preparation, scaffolding, insulation, industrial cleaning and fire protection, rope access, alternative access solutions through Web Rigging Services, and a range of NDT inspection techniques.
By introducing these services, Hertel aims to fulfil the requirements of the current Oil & Gas market and tailor bespoke packages to its clients’ needs.
