Statoil orders risers for Snorre

Statoil has awarded Wellstream manufacturing contracts for the latest phase of the Snorre development in the Norwegian North Sea.

NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE, UK -- Statoil has awarded Wellstream manufacturing contracts for the latest phase of the Snorre development in the Norwegian North Sea.

Wellstream will supply two large diameter dynamic export risers, and topside jumpers which will serves as strategic replacements.

All work will be performed from the company’s facility in northeast England, with delivery scheduled for late 2010 and 2011.
