Energy Searcher back in action off Vietnam

Northern Offshore’s drillship Energy Searcher has returned to Vietnamese waters to resume drilling operations for Vietgazprom, the joint venture between Petrovietnam and Gazprom.

HOUSTON -- Northern Offshore’s drillship Energy Searcher has returned to Vietnamese waters to resume drilling operations for Vietgazprom, the joint venture between Petrovietnam and Gazprom.

The vessel had spent time in a shipyard in Singapore undergoing modifications.

It currently is working on the fourth in a planned five-well program, the last of which should be completed late this year.
