Statoil to deploy ffA 3D seismic analysis software

Statoil has signed a six-year, worldwide agreement to use ffA's Advanced Volume Interpretation software for 3D seismic analysis.

ABERDEEN, UK -- Statoil has signed a six-year, worldwide agreement to use ffA's Advanced Volume Interpretation software for 3D seismic analysis. The agreement aims to ensure that ffA's AVI software integrates well with existing programs within Statoil. It also gives Statoil access to ffA's training and consulting services.

AVI includes ffA's SVI Pro plus advanced 3D seismic analysis that was developed in conjunction wtih Statoil, according to ffA.
