Keppel Singmarine delivers AHTS Sea Comanche, rescue vessel Langepas

Keppel Singmarine has delivered the AHTS Sea Comanche to GulfMark Offshore, and the multi-purpose duty rescue vessel Langepas to LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft.

SINGAPORE -- Keppel Singmarine has delivered the AHTS Sea Comanche to GulfMark Offshore, and the multi-purpose duty rescue vessel Langepasto LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft.

Designed by Marine Technology Development (MTD), Sea Comanche is the last of a series of six AHTS vessels delivered to GulfMark. The vessel was built by Keppel Nantong in China.

The Langepas is a 60-metric-ton (66-ton) bollard pull vessel that will be deployed in the Caspian Sea region to perform supply duty and rescue operations. The vessel can operate in temperatures as low as -20° C (-4° F) and ice thicknesses of up to 70 cm (28 in.).
