ABERDEEN, UK --StatoilHydro has contracted Red Spider Technology for through tubing rotary drilling equipment for its North Sea operations.
The $7.5-million framework agreement is valid for an initial three years, with options for three two-year extensions. Red Spider personnel will supervise operation and maintenance of the equipment offshore, and will also provide complementary products and technologies to aid safety and efficiency of well intervention tasks.
