    Fugro Discovery commissioned

    Fugro Survey Limited's newly commissioned survey vessel, Fugro Discovery, has recently commenced its inaugural survey program of acoustic and visual pipeline inspection work in the North Sea.

    ABERDEEN, UK --Fugro Survey Limited's newly commissioned survey vessel, Fugro Discovery, has recently commenced its inaugural survey program of acoustic and visual pipeline inspection work in the North Sea.

    The total length of pipeline to be surveyed exceeds 7,500 km (4,660 mi). Given normal sea conditions for the time of year, the vessel is expected to be on the program into September 2007.

    At 70 m (2130 ft) LOA, and fitted with the latest survey and positioning equipment, the vessel is equipped for acoustic/visual work in the North Sea.
