Camcon's technology increases oil extraction and disputes OADC analysis

LONDON, England-- The London-based Oil Depletion Analysis Centre (OADC) has produced a new document contradicting BP's oil consumption analysis. The OADC report warns that world oil supplies are set to run out faster than expected and oil consumption will outstrip discovery in as little as four years' time.

Applying Camcon's technology of oil extraction enables higher rates of economic extraction from both old and new wells. Current production processes can only extract a fraction of the hydrocarbon in any reservoir but Camcon's digital valve, specifically developed and configured Binary Actuator Technology (BAT) helps operators recover up to 30% more well reserves.

Oil well extractions are often diminished or terminated because a single tributary becomes contaminated due to uncontrolled reservoir pressure fluctuations, but Camcon's inflow control valve actuation system allows several valves to be deployed in a well. Each valve can be selected individually and opened and closed many times, enabling a more sophisticated flow management program to increase hydrocarbon extractions.
