Husky plans to drill China continental shelf

Husky Oil China Ltd. has contracted the semisubmersible Seadrill West Hercules to drill on the continental slope of China. With a duration of three years, the contract is valued at $580 million.

CALGARY, Canada --Husky Oil China Ltd. has contracted the semisubmersible Seadrill West Hercules to drill on the continental slope of China. With a duration of three years, the contract is valued at $580 million.

TheWest Hercules is under construction at Daewoo Shipyard in South Korea with a 2Q 2008 deliverey schedule.
