    Faroes 013, 014 seismic survey completed

    The acquisition of more than 1,000 km of 2D long-offset seismic data over Faroes blocks 013 and 014 is complete, according to Atlantic Petroleum.

    TORSHAVN, Faroe Islands -- The acquisition of more than 1,000 km of 2D long-offset seismic data over Faroes blocks 013 and 014 is complete, according to Atlantic Petroleum.

    Inseis AS ran the grid using a single source and single streamer from theBergen Surveyor starting in July. The lines covered two identified leads and fulfill the main part of the seismic commitment for the blocks. Additional seismic work is expected.

    Participants in blocks 013 and 014 are operator Geysir Petroleum at 60% and Atlantic Petroleum at 40%.
