ALTENS, UK — Odfjell Technology has added wellbore cleaning chemicals, previously only available to clients via third-party suppliers, to its product range.
The company claimed these would allow for faster delivery and reduced downtime.
Ultra-Max Chemical Cleaner and UltraWash Heavy-duty Degreaser are designed to quickly remove hydrocarbon residues from downhole tubulars, equipment and casing. Their non-flammable, non-abrasive and non-caustic formulas are said to eliminate built-up residue on drilling rigs, pumps and equipment.
Cleaner wellbores improve the fluid displacements process during hydrocarbon recovery, allowing for free flow without the need for costly shutdowns.
The Ultra product range is said to be globally compliant with industry standards.
