Massterly opens autonomous vessel control center

HORTEN, Norway — Massterly, an autonomous vessel operations specialist, has opened its Remote Operation Center (ROC) in Horten.

The company is owned jointly by Kongsberg Maritime and the Wilhelmsen Group. Its partners include Reach Subsea and ASKO.

The ROC will monitor Massterly's autonomous ships, supervising operations from navigation and maintenance management to safety control.

Reach Remote, a new concept in the company’s subsea division, will join the fleet in 2024.
