The latter is now a 51% shareholder in Bourbon Guyana, said to be Guyana’s first indigenous offshore support vessels operator and compliant with the country’s most recent local content regulations.

Bourbon Guyana started operations in 2019 and has since supported operator Exxon Mobil and Saipem with field developments in the offshore Stabroek Block.

It provides a six-strong fleet of large platform supply vessels, anchorhandlers and tugs as well as a range of marine service, with more than 70 Guyanese seafarers among the crews.
