TEHRAN, Iran – Load-out has started of platform 14A for Phase 14 of the South Pars gas field development in the Persian Gulf, according to news service Shana.
Iran Shipbuilding & Offshore Industries Complex Co., based in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, fabricated the 2,350-ton structure.
Offshore installation should be completed later this month. Once online, the platform should produce 14 MMcm/d of rich gas.
In total, the Phase 14 facilities are designed to deliver 56.6 MMcm/d of gas, 75,000 b/d of gas condensate, and 400 t/d of sulfur.
