ABERDEEN, UK – TAQA Bratani has contracted Well-Safe Solutions to provide intervention management services for all its North Sea facilities under a call-off arrangement.
Well-Safe will provide personnel and engineering services to support TAQA’s well plug and abandonment (P&A) planning.
The contractor, formed earlier this year, now employs 25 people at its headquarters in Aberdeen.
CEO Phil Milton said: “Working collaboratively with TAQA’s in-house team, we will undertake well P&A planning that identifies the safest, most-effective and efficient solutions.”
The company aims to become a major “Tier 1” well abandonment service company, providing an integrated package that makes use of its own tailored marine and land-based assets to address safe and cost-efficient decommissioning of wells.
