Sapura details offshore Southeast Asia, Brazil construction progress

Sapura Energy Exploration and Production has issued brief updates on its current offshore oil and gas construction programs.

SELANGOR, Malaysia – Sapura Energy Exploration and Production (E&P) has issued brief updates on its current offshore oil and gas construction programs.

Offshore Sarawak, theSK310 B15 field development remains on track, with first gas expected in 3Q FY20.

Sapura has completed this season’s Pan-Malaysia offshore facilities transport and installation campaign, and finished decommissioning work for Dana D-30 for PCPP Operating Company Sdn. Bhd.

In addition, the SKD Esperanza drilling campaign has delivered strong results forShell’s Malikai deepwater project off Malaysia.

Elsewhere, Sapura saysthe Zawtika field development EPCI project off Myanmar for PTTEP is progressing as planned, as is the B-127 Cluster pipelines EPCIC project offshore India for ONGC.

Off Brazil, all Sapura’s six pipelay vessels are operating for Petrobras at 99.5% utilization.
