Mermaid Endurer prepares for subsea pipeline program in the Middle East

Mermaid Maritime subsidiaries have secured three new subsea contracts with a total value close to $12 million.

BANGKOK, ThailandMermaid Maritime subsidiaries have secured three new subsea contracts with a total value close to $12 million.

Two, due to start soon, will involve use of the DP-2 dive support vesselMermaid Endurer equipped with an ROV and grouting spread for survey, spool-piece tie-in, and free span correction projects on subsea pipelines in the Middle East.

For the other contract, the DP-2 saturation diving vesselMermaid Commander, fitted with a Quasar work-class ROV, will perform a 60-day saturation diving and ROV inspection, repair, and maintenance project in Malaysian waters.
