ABERDEEN, UK – Alpha Petroleum has granted Awilco Drilling a letter of award to drill 18 development wells on the Cheviot field in the UK northern North Sea.
The firm program, due to start next spring, has an estimated duration of 1,080 days, and a minimum contract of $26 million.
Awilco’s WilPhoenix, an Enhanced Pacesetter semisubmersible, will drill the wells.
