Subsea 7 wraps up offshore installations in the North Sea

Subsea 7 has issued progress reports for its various offshore oil and gas construction programs.

During 2Q, the Dana Petroleum-operated Western Isles and Premier-operated Catcher projects in the UK North Sea neared completion, while theSeven Borealis continued flowline installation for Maersk’s Culzean project.

Offshore Norway, theSeven Oceans performed reeled pipelay installation on Winterhsall’s Maria project.

Work onBP’s West Nile Delta Phase One project offshore Egypt was substantially completed with Phase Two also making good progress.

In the US Gulf of Mexico, the Coulomb project is substantially complete and the Stampede project is close to completion.

Subsea 7’s pipelay support vessel Seven Waves mobilized to Brazil and resumed work under its long-term day rate contract at the start of July.

The i-Tech Services division’s life of field vesselHarvey Intervention was deployed on a new inspection, maintenance, and repair contract for Shell in the GoM, and work continued on the Emergency Pipeline Repair System project offshore Australia.
