GREAT YARMOUTH, UK – Maersk Oil has contracted Simmons Edeco to provide scheduled and unscheduled wellhead maintenance services for all of the operator’s wells in the Danish North Sea.
In addition, the contractor will refurbish valves and wellhead maintenance equipment.
The five-year contract, which started last month, has three one-year extension options, and will be managed from Simmons Edeco’s new operations base in Esbjerg, whereMaersk Oil’s Danish Business Unit is also located.
