TRONDHEIM, Norway – Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has entered a pre-funding agreement related to 3D controlled source electromagnetic surveys in the Barents Sea.
The data will be acquired later this year, with anticipated revenues of $2.5 million.
During 2Q 2017, EMGS had one vessel, theAtlantic Guardian, in operation acquiring data on pre-funded multi-client surveys in the Barents Sea from the beginning of the quarter to June 23.
After that, the vessel steamed to Fosen shipyard for rigging of theDeep Blue source.
The BOA Thalassa has been off-hire since April 1, and is available for individual projects until Oct. 1, when it starts a firm charter.
