Aramco contracts Saipem for 19 platform jackets

Saudi Aramco has awarded Saipem an offshore contract in Saudi Arabia, covering EPCI activities and trunklines and installation works.

SAN DONATO MILANESE, ItalySaudi Aramco has awarded Saipem an offshore contract in Saudi Arabia, covering EPCI activities and trunklines and installation works.

The award is covered under along-term agreement, renewed in 2015 until 2021.

Saipem’s scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of 19 jackets for further development of the offshore Marjan, Zuluf, Berri, Hasbah, and Safaniya fields.

Elsewhere, the company has negotiated a three-year extension to the deployment of the FPSO Gimboa offshore Angola, inclusive of management and maintenance services, personnel, material, and consumable supplies.
