ABERDEEN, UK – Gastrade has awarded Wood Group a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for the Alexandroupolis independent natural gas system (INGS) project offshore Greece.
INGS, featuring a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) receiving, storage and regasification unit (FSRU), will establish a new natural gas gateway to markets in southeast and central Europe.
Wood Group’s subsea team will perform design and engineering definition of the Alexandroupolis FSRU and its subsystems, with a final investment decision for the project expected in late 2017.
