Drilling framework deal extended

Seadrill and North Atlantic Drilling Ltd. have secured an extension of their long-term framework agreement with Russian oil company Rosneft.

HAMILTON, Bermuda – Seadrill and North Atlantic Drilling Ltd. (NADL) have secured an extension of their long-term framework agreement with Russian oil company Rosneft.

The long stop date is now May 31, 2019.

During the intervening period, Seadrill and NADL can continue to market their offshore drilling rigs and enter into binding contracts with third parties.
