Offshore staff
LONDON – NRC has established a branch in Luanda, NRC Angola LDA, offering a wide range of industrial and environmental services to the local oil and gas industry.
The branch will work in partnership with Angolan oil and gas service company Tradinter.
Its first contract award involves the supply of a customized external caisson cleaning system on an FPSO in offshore block 15.
This will be applied with ultra-high pressure water jetting equipment to remove marine growth and an epoxy paint coating from two seawater lift caissons, ahead of inspection, repair, and maintenance.
NRC’s in-country capabilities include: industrial cleaning of heavy oil cargo, slops and ballast tanks, water jetting, NORM management and de-scaling; asbestos management; HVAC / duct cleaning; and oil spill response services.
Over the past five years it has provided oil spill response and industrial services on various rig, platform, and FPSO projectsoffshore Angola.
