ABERDEEN, UK – Premier Oil has contracted Wood Group to perform front-end engineering design for the Tolmount gas field development in the UK southern North Sea.
Wood Group will work on topsides, jacket, pipeline, flow assurance, and subsea engineering aspects of the proposed platform and export pipeline, which will tie into the Dimlington onshore terminal in Humberside on the English east coast.
Earlier Premier commissioned the same contractor to deliver topsides operations and maintenance services to the Balmoral floating production vessel in the central North Sea, and the Solan platform west of Shetland.
